Easy-Peasy 3-Ingredient Cat Treats For Your Puss

Three Ingredient Cat Treats

Few things get our fur child Hank moving like the prospect of indulging in a paw-full of cat treats. Every time he’s tabby ears hears the clicking sound of the cabinet door where we hide the cat treats. Some of his favourites include duck liver nibbles from Natural Born Pets and homemade sardine flavoured baked treats. Yes, you read that correctly – homemade easy-peasy cat treats made from only 3 ingredients!

It might sound like a lot of work to bake your very own kitty treats, but I can assure you it is a labour of love your feline companion will appreciate. These delicious bite-sized morsels are made using all-natural ingredients and the recipe is easily adaptable to suit your cat’s preference.

We love using Lucky Start Sardines in vegetable oil! Sardines are a natural source of protein and calcium and are high in Omega 3 fatty acids. They are super healthy and are a nutritious addition to your feline friend’s meal plan.

Pamper your puss with these homemade cat treats that are not only super delicious but are also super easy to make with only three ingredients! Substitute the sardines with a different fish if your kitty prefers. The possibilities are only limited by the type of fish available at your local grocer. Just be sure to choose a tin of fish that is preserved in vegetable oil, the salted water variety will not work for this recipe.

3-Ingredient Cat Treats

Ingredients

  • Salmon
  • Egg
  • Flour

Recipe Tips

  1. You could grab the hand mixer in case you find yourself without the convenience of a food processor.
  2. Not all flour is created equally! Always start with half a cup of flour and gradually add more as required.
  3. Finding the perfect cutter to shape your cat treats may require patience neither you nor your feline friend has. Simply roll the dough into treat-sized balls and press them down slightly with the back of a fork.
