Change for the Better is a non-profit organization committed to improving the welfare of feral cats in the Northern suburbs of Cape Town through various initiatives aimed at reducing their suffering and promoting humane treatment.
The organization engages in community outreach to educate residents about responsible cat stewardship, including spaying and neutering programs to control feral populations.
Additionally, Change for the Better provides food, medical care, and shelter for these cats, striving to create a sustainable environment where feral cat colonies can thrive alongside the human population.
By fostering partnerships with local veterinarians and volunteers, the organization seeks to raise awareness of feral cat issues while promoting compassionate solutions that benefit both the cats and the community.
Feral Cat Program
There are programs all over the world for the handling of feral cat colonies. Being pro-life, Change for the Better is engaged in trap-neuter-return programs to manage population control, as opposed to capture-and-euthanasia.
